On June 7, 2022, Wolves expanded their relationship with AstroPay, promoting the company to the main partner and front-of-shirt sponsor for the 2022/23 season. Under this updated agreement, the AstroPay logo was displayed on the front of Wolves’ shirts, covering the men’s, women’s, and youth teams, as well as replica kits across all age groups. On August 26, 2022, AstroPay launched an interactive game, “O What a Shot,” aimed at engaging fans attending matches at Molineux Stadium. The game allowed selected fans to take a shot on the field by aiming at the “O” in a giant AstroPay logo. Each successful shot added £100 to a prize pot, building excitement throughout the 2022/23 season. This cash prize giveaway offered a unique experience for fans and added a new layer of excitement to Wolves’ matchdays.
Launch of the Wolves-Branded AstroPay Debit Card
On March 8, 2023, AstroPay introduced a Wolves-branded virtual debit card, allowing fans to make purchases globally. The Visa-authorized card is available to AstroPay users and offers benefits like 20% cashback on purchases at the official Wolverhampton club store. Fans can also earn AstroCoins, redeemable for exclusive rewards, including signed merchandise, hospitality experiences, and training ground tours.

AstroPay and Wolves Extend Partnership for 2023/24 Season
On June 7, 2023, Wolves confirmed that AstroPay would remain the club’s main partner for the 2023/24 season, continuing the successful collaboration that brought extensive fan engagement initiatives and brand visibility. However, at the end of the 2023/24 season, the partnership between Wolverhampton Wanderers and AstroPay concluded, with both sides having achieved their objectives over the multi-year agreement.
