17 July 2018 FC Barcelona confirmed a collaboration with the renowned American fashion brand Thom Browne, which will serve as the team’s global sponsor and official provider of off-field tailored and formalwear uniforms. This three-season partnership, effective from the 2018/19 campaign, aligns Barcelona with a brand known for its innovation in modern tailoring.
Under the agreement, Thom Browne will supply exclusive formalwear for the first team during away trips. This sponsorship highlights the club’s commitment to aligning with global brands that share its values and enhance its reputation in the sports sponsorship market. The collaboration also represents a strategic step in Barcelona’s plan to forge high-value partnerships in the sports industry.
Thom Browne, established in 2001, is celebrated for redefining traditional suiting. The designer’s work emphasizes quality craftsmanship and precise tailoring while modernizing classic menswear. Browne started his journey with a small shop in New York’s West Village, offering bespoke suits. Since then, the brand has expanded to include complete ready-to-wear collections for both men (2003) and women (2011).
