In May 2012, just before Chelsea’s Champions League final, the football club signed a high-profile sponsorship agreement with German automotive giant Audi. This three-year deal marked Audi as the official car partner of Chelsea FC, aligning the prestigious car manufacturer with one of the top football clubs in Europe.
From 2012 to 2015, Audi provided premium branding exposure at Chelsea’s home stadium, Stamford Bridge. Audi logos appeared prominently in various locations around the stadium, including the team dugout seats, creating high visibility for the brand during home matches broadcast globally. The partnership also saw the club receive luxury vehicles from Audi as part of the collaboration, highlighting the association between football and premium automotive brands.
Despite the successful partnership, it concluded at the end of the 2014/2015 season without renewal. Audi and Chelsea FC chose to move in different directions after the expiration of the contract.
