In July 2010, Chelsea Football Club announced a multi-year agreement with the renowned Italian fashion brand Dolce & Gabbana (D&G). The partnership, which spanned three years, saw D&G designing a full range of suits and casual wear for Chelsea’s players, managers, coaches, and back-room staff.
One of the standout elements of this partnership was the fashion-forward suits designed by Dolce & Gabbana, with a clear nod to Chelsea’s iconic blue color. The players sported dark blue three-piece suits, paired with matching shirts and ties, reflecting a sharp, sophisticated look that aligned with the club’s prestige. Team manager Carlo Ancelotti also donned the same suit, but with a light blue shirt to distinguish his role.
In addition to male players and staff, D&G introduced chic uniforms for Chelsea’s female staff, including high heels and trench coats, adding a level of elegance to the club’s overall presentation.
The partnership extended beyond just dressing the team. Dolce & Gabbana also undertook the refurbishment of Chelsea FC’s directors’ lounge at Stamford Bridge. As part of this, a luxurious Dolce & Gabbana Lounge was introduced in the West Stand, reflecting the brand’s blend of style and sophistication. In addition, the club’s main office reception received a makeover to align with the high-end aesthetics of D&G.
