Tottenham Hotspur and Cinch sponsorship overview
In January 2021, Tottenham Hotspur and the UK-based online car-selling platform Cinch announced a five-year sponsorship deal. As part of the agreement, Cinch’s logo will feature on the left sleeve of both the men’s and women’s team shirts in North London.

Tottenham Hotspur hadn’t secured a sleeve sponsor since the Premier League permitted such agreements starting from the 2017/2018 season. This partnership marks a significant milestone for Cinch, founded just two years earlier in 2019, as it represents the largest sports sponsorship deal in the company’s history.
Avril Palmer-Baunack, Chairman of Constellation Automotive Group, the owners of cinch, expressed her excitement about the multi-year partnership with Tottenham Hotspur. She stated, “We’re thrilled to have sealed this fantastic deal with Tottenham Hotspur, which will help cinch in its mission to become the go-to brand for purchasing a used car. Our focus is on prioritizing the customer and simplifying the car-buying process. We’re eager to connect with the loyal Spurs fans in the years ahead.”
In addition to sleeve branding, Cinch will enjoy visibility on the matchday perimeter and a multi-tiered digital ribbon advertising system at Tottenham Hotspur’s stadium. Furthermore, the company gains rights to launch promotional campaigns across the club’s social media and digital platforms.

Cinch’s marketing activations have focused on creating entertaining content featuring players from Tottenham Hotspur’s men’s and women’s teams, distributed across the company’s TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube channels. These videos feature a variety of content, ranging from entertaining challenges and pranks involving club leaders like Harry Kane (who moved to Bayern Munich in 2023) and Son Heung-min, to more serious interviews with the head coach, Angelos Potekoglou.
