Ed Sheeran deepens ties with Ipswich Town FC
As of the 2024/25 season, Sheeran continues as the front-of-shirt sponsor for Ipswich Town FC for the fourth consecutive year. His Mathematics Tour logo, stylized as +–=÷×, is displayed on both the Men’s and Women’s team jerseys. Initially joining as a sponsor in the 2021/22 season, Sheeran was also symbolically included in the official squad and given the #17 shirt.
Sheeran acquires stake in Ipswich Town FC
The day before the 2024/25 season kicked off, it was announced that Sheeran had acquired a minority stake in Ipswich Town FC. Through Gamechanger 20 Ltd, Sheeran now holds a 1.4% stake in the club. As part of the agreement, he secured long-term use of a personalized executive box at Portman Road stadium. However, his role remains passive as he has opted not to join the club’s board.
