Empoli FC and Kappa sign long-term kit sponsorship

In July 2018, Empoli Football Club announced a significant partnership with Kappa, one of Italy’s most well-known sportswear brands. This five-year sponsorship deal initially covered all kits for the club’s first team, youth academy, and women’s team, marking Kappa as the official kit supplier for Empoli.

Partnership extension until 2028

By February 2022, the collaboration was extended even further. Empoli and Gruppo BasicNet, the company behind Kappa, agreed to prolong their partnership until June 30, 2028. This extended deal, brokered in cooperation with the commercial partner Studio Sport Srl, demonstrates both parties’ satisfaction with the arrangement. The contract now spans a full decade, reinforcing Kappa’s role as the club’s official technical sponsor.

Under the agreement, Kappa will continue to supply kits and technical sportswear not only for the first men’s team, but also for all youth sectors, women’s teams, and Empoli Academy-affiliated squads. Additionally, Kappa will provide gear for the club’s merchandising operations, ensuring a unified brand identity across all areas of the club.
