On 18 September 2004, luxury car manufacturer Audi became Manchester United’s first-ever automotive sponsor. Audi UK signed a two-year sponsorship agreement with the Premier League club, marking a milestone in the club’s commercial partnerships. This agreement saw Audi becoming the official car supplier to one of the world’s most famous football clubs, Manchester United.
Under the partnership, Audi provided a fleet of luxury cars for Manchester United’s players and senior managers. As part of the agreement, Audi invited team members to participate in the Audi Driving Experience, a training program aimed at promoting responsible driving. The experience offered players comprehensive training on car control to maximize their driving skills and fully enjoy the performance capabilities of Audi vehicles.
Throughout the years, Manchester United and Audi renewed their partnership multiple times, further strengthening their collaboration. However, in May 2012, it was announced that the contract between Manchester United and Audi had officially come to an end.
