Ooredoo’s Strategic Partnership with PSG

The collaboration between Ooredoo and PSG has spanned multiple years, with the telecom giant continuously contributing to both sports development and community outreach. In 2013, the relationship took a significant leap, with Ooredoo becoming the official sponsor of PSG’s training complex, which was later renamed the “Ooredoo Training Center.” The company’s logo also appeared on PSG’s jerseys, further solidifying its presence in the sports industry.

Ooredoo’s commitment to the sport grew with the introduction of the “Paris Saint-Germain Academy by Ooredoo,” a football coaching initiative targeting youth development in Ooredoo’s key markets. In 2021, Ooredoo and PSG launched a groundbreaking initiative, “The Art and the Mobile,” where Qatari artists transformed smartphones into unique works of art inspired by PSG players. The auctioning of these one-of-a-kind pieces raised funds for future artistic and cultural projects in collaboration with Qatar Museums and the PSG Foundation.

Additionally, the “Fans Do Wonders” campaign launched by Ooredoo became one of the largest international media campaigns in PSG’s history. It saw the club’s top players such as Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Thiago Silva, and Neymar Jr. connecting with global fans through social media, leading to a huge increase in fan engagement across the MENA region and Southeast Asia.
