SSC Napoli and SGAM Spa have officially extended their long-standing collaboration, marking a new milestone by naming Acqua Sorgesana as the club’s Back-of-Shirt Partner through the 2026/27 season. The partnership spans over two decades and continues to evolve – what began in 2005 with Acqua Lete as the main sponsor now shifts focus to another flagship brand in SGAM’s portfolio.
Acqua Sorgesana will not only maintain its role as the Official Water Supplier of the Serie A champions, supporting the players’ hydration and performance routines, but will now gain increased visibility on Napoli’s matchday kits worn by the first team and U19s.
Under the new agreement, Acqua Sorgesana branding will feature across stadium LED boards, press backdrops, and the official match kits. The partnership ensures the brand is present in every aspect of the club’s daily operations, including training sessions, nutritional support, and match preparation.
To mark the launch, Napoli and SGAM unveiled a promotional video centered around shared values: purity, integrity, and a commitment to healthy living—messages that will anchor future fan-facing campaigns.
“This collaboration reflects more than business; it’s a shared journey,” said Aurelio De Laurentiis, SSC Napoli President. “It’s fitting that a brand rooted in Naples now sits proudly on the back of our shirts, symbolizing loyalty and long-term vision.”
SGAM President Nicola Arnone echoed that sentiment: “We’ve believed in Napoli’s potential from the start. Our decision to back the club back in 2005 was based on trust in De Laurentiis’s project. We’re proud to have grown alongside Napoli—and with Acqua Sorgesana, we look forward to contributing to the club’s next chapter.”
This renewed collaboration also aims to increase Acqua Sorgesana’s exposure both nationally and internationally, leveraging Napoli’s growing global footprint. The brand’s previous experience in football sponsorship includes a three-year run as shirt sponsor for Bari, and this Napoli deal significantly strengthens its presence in top-tier Italian football.
In addition to stadium and media visibility, Sorgesana will be featured on all club-owned media platforms, expanding its reach to millions of Napoli fans worldwide. The new role also supports SGAM’s mission to link product authenticity with local pride and international prestige.
Founded in the early 1980s, SGAM Spa (Società Generale delle Acque Minerali) is one of Italy’s leading beverage producers. It owns the historic brands Acqua Lete (est. 1893) and Acqua Sorgesana, both recognized for their high-quality mineral water products.
SGAM operates 11 modern production lines across Italy (eight PET, two glass, one aluminum) and uses 100% renewable energy, in partnership with E.ON, for all its bottling operations. The company is also a founding member of CORIPET, a consortium recognized by the Italian Ministry of the Environment for PET recycling and packaging sustainability.
