Front of shirt and training wear
On June 13, 2018, Wolverhampton Wanderers (Wolves) announced a two-year sponsorship agreement with W88, a leading global online gaming company. This partnership marked a significant milestone for Wolves, as it became the largest sponsorship deal in the club’s history at the time.
The partnership placed the W88 logo prominently on the front of Wolves’ 2018/19 Premier League home, away, and third kits. This included the club’s entire range of training wear, with both products scheduled for release later that month.
Beyond the match kits, W88 branding was featured across the club’s training apparel, ensuring consistent visibility throughout the season.
The sponsorship extended beyond branding to include joint activations and initiatives that aimed to enhance fan engagement and global visibility for both Wolves and W88. These activations emphasized the mutual benefits of the collaboration and reinforced W88’s position as a prominent brand in the gaming sector.
Despite the initial two-year agreement, the partnership between Wolves and W88 ended after the 2018/19 season. The club exercised a break clause in the contract, similar to its previous transition from Money Shop sponsorship when Wolves were promoted from the Championship.
