July 2025 – Brentford Football Club has announced a new partnership with One Water, a B Corp-certified ethical water brand known for its commitment to sustainability and access to clean drinking water globally. The agreement establishes One Water as the official and exclusive water supplier for all Brentford FC operations, including matchdays, training sessions, and community initiatives.
Under this partnership, One Water will exclusively provide its sustainably packaged spring water throughout Gtech Community Stadium during all matchday and commercial events. The collaboration extends to the club’s training base — the Robert Rowan Performance Centre — where One Water will supply hydration solutions for the men’s, women’s, and academy teams.
This alliance reflects Brentford’s focus on building a more responsible supply chain while supporting ethical businesses that align with the club’s values. One Water has already raised over £30 million through The One Foundation since its launch in 2005, funding clean water and sanitation projects for over 5 million people, particularly across sub-Saharan Africa.
The partnership supports Brentford’s wider environmental sustainability goals, particularly around reducing single-use plastics and minimizing carbon impact. One Water’s 500ml bottles are made from 100% recycled PET plastic and are themselves fully recyclable. Their range also includes glass bottles — both of which will now be available to players, fans, and staff across all club facilities.
As part of the agreement, One Water will also collaborate with the Brentford FC Community Sports Trust to develop a fan engagement program focused on sustainability education and local impact in west London.
Fran Jones, Commercial Director at Brentford FC, shared:
“Brentford and One Water are united by a shared commitment to community and positive change. Our sustainability goals are ambitious, and we’re excited to learn from One Water and grow together through this meaningful collaboration.”
James Beale, Head of Sustainability and Community at Brentford, added:
“This partnership gives us the tools to better measure and manage our water use. One Water’s transparency around carbon emissions and circularity supports our data-driven sustainability strategy. It’s a major step forward for our club.”
Ian Spooner, Brand Director at One Water, commented:
“Partnering with Brentford FC allows us to bring our mission to a wider audience via the Premier League. Together, we’ll raise awareness, fund more water projects through The One Foundation, and give fans the opportunity to ‘do One good thing’ with every bottle.”
