In August 2012, Swiss luxury watchmaker Hublot was announced as the Official Timekeeper and Official Watch of Juventus, marking the beginning of a decade-long partnership. This collaboration united Juventus, Italy’s most decorated football club, with Hublot, a brand renowned for precision and innovation in horology.
The partnership was revealed during the Italian SuperCoppa Final between Juventus and Napoli in Beijing, a strategic move to emphasize both brands’ global reach. Juventus, often referred to as “La Vecchia Signora” (The Old Lady), brought to the table a storied history of domestic and international success, including their unbeaten run in the 2011/2012 Serie A season.
Hublot Cup and Exclusive Launch Events
In June 2013, Juventus Stadium hosted the inaugural Hublot Cup, an exclusive friendly match involving Hublot Retailers and Journalists. Guests were treated to a luxurious experience, including a visit to the Agnelli balcony, showcasing the partnership’s blend of sports and luxury.
Over the years, the partnership led to the release of several limited-edition timepieces, celebrating key milestones. In 2018, Hublot extended its role as Juventus’ Official Timekeeper until 2021. This renewal was celebrated with the unveiling of the Classic Fusion Chronograph Juventus, marking the third exclusive watch dedicated to the club. A photographic exhibition at Allianz Stadium highlighted the fruitful partnership, which encompassed not only national and international events but also innovative campaigns like Hublot Loves Football.
End of the Collaboration
