On August 17, 2022, Ipswich Town FC introduced a pivotal sponsorship deal with Mediterranean Shipping Company Ltd. (MSC), marking a significant phase in the club’s commercial strategy. This agreement positions MSC as the sponsor for both the first-team’s training and bench wear, as well as the kit sponsor for the Town’s Girls’ Academy Emerging Talent Centre across all age groups.

Successful partnership leads to extensions
The initial collaboration yielded such positive outcomes that on July 5, 2023, both parties were delighted to renew their commitment. The new agreement extends the partnership for three additional years, through the 2025/26 season.
Elevating Ipswich Town FC’s training facilities
In a further development on May 2, 2024, the club announced another extension of the partnership, now set to continue until the summer of 2027. This extension not only reaffirms MSC’s role as a primary partner but also includes naming rights for the club’s training ground, now dubbed the MSC UK Training Centre.
This partnership is especially timely as Ipswich Town celebrates its return to the Premier League for the 2024/25 season after securing a promotion from the Championship. The enhanced visibility and increased fan engagement opportunities provide a powerful platform for both Ipswich Town and MSC to showcase their brand and community commitment on a global stage
