April 24, 2024 – Real Madrid has signed a new international sponsorship agreement with Ouro, a technology-driven financial services company. The deal designates Ouro as the exclusive official sponsor of the men’s and women’s football first teams in the prepaid, credit, and debit card category.
This partnership will make Ouro the club’s regional sponsor in several key global markets, including the United States, Mexico, Brazil, Portugal, France, and the United Arab Emirates, reflecting Real Madrid’s growing commercial footprint outside Spain.
The collaboration was formalized during a signing event at Real Madrid City, attended by Emilio Butragueño, the club’s Director of Institutional Relations, along with Ouro’s co-founders Roy Sosa and Bertrand Sosa.
Butragueño highlighted the significance of this strategic alliance: “We are pleased to welcome a leader in digital finance into the Real Madrid family. With Ouro’s presence in high-growth markets like the U.S., Mexico, and Brazil, this partnership will help us expand our global connection with fans.
