June 18-24 sponsorship highlights: a historic moment in France and more

England

Aston Villa – Carlsberg Marston’s Brewing Company

On June 17, Aston Villa announced a new partnership with Carlsberg Marston’s Brewing Company (CMBC). Under this agreement, CMBC has been named the club’s official lager and cider partner. Starting from the 2024/25 season, CMBC will offer its extensive beverage portfolio throughout Villa Park. Fans can look forward to a diverse selection of drinks, including Carlsberg Pilsner, Birrificio Angelo Poretti, Somersby Cider, 1664, and Brooklyn Pilsner.

Additionally, CMBC will play a vital role in the ongoing refurbishment of Villa Park’s kiosks and hospitality facilities. This collaboration aims to enhance the matchday experience for Villa supporters by providing a broader beverage selection and improving the stadium environment.

Everton – Hewlett Packard Enterprise

On June 17, Everton FC announced a multi-year partnership with HPE Aruba Networking, a California-based subsidiary of Hewlett Packard Enterprise specializing in security and networking solutions.

As part of this agreement, HPE Aruba Networking will become the official supplier of networking infrastructure for Everton’s new 52,888-capacity waterfront stadium. The system being implemented includes switches, access points, wireless and wired network management, security software, as well as network design, administration, and monitoring services. This partnership aims to provide a secure and advanced networking solution to enhance the fan experience. Everton’s new stadium is set to open at the start of the 2025–2026 season.

Prior to this, on June 11, HPE announced that it had become the official edge-to-cloud partner for FC Barcelona’s new stadium.

Spain

La liga – Venado

On June 17, La Liga announced a groundbreaking partnership with Venado, marking the first time a Central American brand has become a sponsor of the Spanish soccer competition.

Venado, a leading brand of white rums and aguardientes from Guatemala, has aligned with La Liga as the official sponsor for Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, and the United States.

As part of the agreement, various activations will be implemented to bring Venado consumers closer to the passion and excitement of La Liga. The partnership was unveiled at a launch event in Guatemala City, attended by La Liga legend and former Real Madrid player, Fernando Morientes.

Italy

Juventus – Fanatics

Juventus and Fanatics, a digital sports platform and global leader in licensed sports merchandise, have announced an extensive partnership covering ecommerce, retail, manufacturing, and licensing. This collaboration will see Fanatics manage all aspects of Juventus’ merchandise worldwide, marking one of the most comprehensive and ambitious club deals in sports merchandising history.

This new partnership, set to run until the end of the 2034/2035 season, aims to expand Juventus’ brand and merchandise reach to fans not only across Italy but around the globe. Fanatics will serve as the master licensee for Juventus’ merchandise portfolio, operating from its Fanatics Italy headquarters.

France

Paris Saint-Germain – Barbara Bui

On June 20th, Paris Saint-Germain announced the launch of a collaboration with Barbara Bui, the renowned French luxury fashion brand. Starting from the 2024-2025 season, Barbara Bui will become the official outfitter for PSG’s women’s team for the next two years. This partnership marks a historic moment as PSG’s women’s team becomes the first in the women’s championship to have an official outfitter.

This collaboration between PSG and Barbara Bui highlights their shared passion for Parisian elegance and the global prestige of Paris. Both brands are united by their pursuit of excellence and their influence on the international stage. The partnership promises to merge the contemporary and dynamic worlds of sport and fashion.

Beginning next season, the PSG women’s team players will be provided with two pre-match presentation outfits, a formal outfit, and a more casual outfit, all designed by Barbara Bui. These outfits have been created with a deep understanding of the players’ unique personalities and preferences, blending style and function seamlessly.

Saudi Arabia

Al Nassr – Tombolini

Al Nassr has announced a dynamic partnership with Tombolini for the 2024-2025 season, marking the Italian fashion giant as the official formal wear partner for the club. This collaboration will see Al Nassr’s players, technical staff, and top management dressed in Tombolini’s tailored suits.

For the 2024-2025 season, Al Nassr will showcase the TMB Running collection by Tombolini, featuring navy-blue suits crafted from a technical stretch fabric ideal for travel. This choice reflects the modern athlete’s needs for comfort and mobility, maintaining a sleek and professional look during their travels. Furthermore, for formal events, the players and staff will sport suits from Tombolini’s Zero Gravity line.

Tombolini has previously collaborated with F.C. Inter Milan. This new partnership extends its reach into the Middle Eastern market.
